Core Curriculum Classroom Lessons
Counselors visit teacher classrooms during the year to deliver life lessons and teach life skills to our students. Typically these lessons focus on some attribute of character, however, sometimes we have teachers request something specific and we are glad to accommodate. At the beginning of each school year, we do an introduction to the counselor guidance lesson where we introduce ourselves, talk about what we do, inform them about how to make referrals, etc.
